X-10 IR543AH Lighting

X10 produces a device called the IR543 which controls X10 powerline devices using an infrared remote, but it only sends signals to devices on a single house code (16 devices). Laser Business Systems produces a modification kit called the IRAH which allows the IR543 (now called IR543AH) to send signals to devices on all house codes (256 devices).

Included are device configuration files to allow the Philips ProntoNEO TSU500, the Marantz RC3200, and the Boston Acoustics Avidea A7RC/TSU501 to control both of these devices. (The additional commands for the IR543AH were added using a combination of learning from a TSU6000 using code files included with the IRAH, and hex code tweaking to improve usability.) The files are designed to give you access to all the codes in an organized manner, but the configuration becomes much more powerful when you link multiple commands to a single button (e.g. assign a macro for [House Code "C", Unit Code "2", Function Code "On"] to a button named "Kitchen Light On").

X-10 IR543AH Lighting

This should be a fairly complete listing for all X-10 IR codes - to my knowledge found nowhere else - a total of 41 hex codes containing all known X10 IR codes! I've included below both the House codes along with all of the other "device" codes I've accumulated. In plain text format.

X-10 IR7243AH Lighting

I used to use a Pronto RU940, but now use the MX-3000. I've been programming it for the last week or two and got round to the home automation side of things. I just got the IR7243AH and found the X10 codes available didn't work for me. I uploaded the codes for the Pronto and then " learned them" to the MX and thought that maybe someone else might use them. I have tested them with my setup, but, these may not work with yours.

X-10 IR7243U Lighting
Added by Brian McClure | 2006 | 3,025 views
Codes learned from a Pronto RU940 that actually work with the X-10 IR7243U. The original template is based on Robert Picard's and only the learned buttons with "pronto 256" have been tested. I intend to re-issue a tidier more elaborate verion in the future, but at least this will allow all the frustrated folks with IR7243's to get moving again.

X-10 IR543AH Lighting

Simple page with all 16 house and device codes. Works just like the old 6-in-1 remote: 1) Press the desired house code; 2) Press the desired device number; 3) Press the desired function (On, Off, Dim, etc.). Once steps 1 and 2 are done, you can just press the function buttons to continue controlling that same device, until a different house code/device is selected. From here, the individual X10 codes can be lifted and used within a macro to tie the desired function to a single soft button.
