I designed this program around an activity based setup. My Dad comes to visit regularly and he couldn't figure out how to use my system with my old remote - I tried to make it as user friendly as possible and I think I accomplished that goal - I know my Dad never asks me how to use the system anymore - I didn't even have to show him what to do with this setup. I made it extremely easy to change channels by using the Channel Logos as the main interface to change cable> channels instead of using the digits. Right now - it has a Rotel processor but early next week I'm replacing that with an Atlantic Technologies Processor. I'll post an update when complete.

Complete system setup for Nevo Q50 with Nevo Connect. Includes a custom designed series of screen for "loading". All activities working but only main activities and home page have been customized. Device pages have not yet been customized.

This is my configuration is use every day on my NevoQ50 to control my multi-room system. The Russound CAA66 is controlled via the RS-232 Port connected to the NC-50 NevoConnect.

My config based on standard/customised Nevo gallery. Uses device buttons at top of each page to jump to a device directly (except home page which contains activities and system power off). Home page also contains a Devices button, to jump to page allowing individual power control of all devices (and a direct jump to any device). Includes a selection of SKY UK TV channel logos.

Based on my pronto design. Consistant menu system accross all pages. Menus overlay page for a file menu/ PC menu look and feel. Designed for a clean looking screen but with all options within a few clicks. Activity based design extended to PVR (Sky+) to automatically change the hard buttons based on whether you are watching live TV or recorded TV. "Please wait" screen added. "Jump" macro that jumps to all screens the returns home added. The Nevo is faster once a screen is loaded into memory. Jumping to all screens loads all screens. Power off has confirm screen (usefull when your TV has a 3 minute on/off time :) Menu bitmaps created with MS paint (OMG). All other buttons from Nevo. Added a beep macro. Rather than using beeps directly using this shortcut allows beeps to be blobally changed by changing just one macro.
