This is combo learned and stock codes customized and working great with macros.

Unique system layout: Main button not used between most devices; Full surround discretes; Music device for cable music; Z2 functions on FAV page.

This is a system setup for my own personal system. Some of them are discrete, some are not. There was a few pieces that had no discretes, so I improvised. The Onkyo receiver is part of a HTIB and with the power, only the off command is discrete. I could not find any discrete on command for this model. The TV has no discrete power or inputs so that was the toughest. I found a way to trick the system and work around the lack of discrete inputs. The only reason it worked is becuase this TV has seperate input commands for composite and componet and as long as you know the order, it's easy to trick and works flawlessly. I had to use an all on command because the lack of discrete on this TV.

Activity-based remote control configuration. Main Page #1 contains the activities. Each activity's pages contain a mix of DVD/DVR/Projector/Receiver commands that make sense for that activity. Main Page #2 contains the actual devices, and his hidden, although devices are accessible by pressing one of the unused LCD buttons on Main Page #1. Layout is extremely spouse/kids friendly. Amp is not a real device. Receiver powers on the external amp via a 12V trigger that is enabled using the Receiver's Zone 2 function. Receiver pages were completely filled, so I created an "Amp" device to mimic the Zone 2 On/Off function. A Utils LCD button on Main Page #2 contains pages for short cuts to actual devices, as well as Power Off confirmation messages. Because I have a front projector in my system, I use these confirmation messages to avoid inadvertent power offs. Discrete Power On/Off for all devices.

Discretes for all but VCR and DSS, macros for specific activities.

A complete system with a Home Theater Computer ("HTPC") which is used mainly for DVD playback (via WinDVD 5.0). Controls learned via a combination of Airboard infrared and iMon Multimedian infrared.

Plus Cox cable channels and power macros.

Main menu set up for activity-based use. Discrete codes used for all devices except the cable box.
